Dalam rangka peningkatan kinerja Satpol PP terutama di bidang Ketertiban Umum dan Ketentraman Masyarakat, Satpol PP berusaha melakukan penertiban umum dan lingkungan semaksimal mungkin sesuai dengan Peraturan Daerah No. 2 Tahun 2012 tentang Penertiban Umum dan Lingkungan sehingga masyarakat dapat merasakan kenyamanan dan keamanan lingkungan.
Selama beberapa hari ini (27 Mei s/d 30 Mei 2015) Satpol PP melakukan penghalauan dan penertiban Pedagang Kaki Lima di sekitar Alun-Alun Kota Malang dan Jl. Pasar Besar sehingga masyarakat dapat memanfaatkan fasilitas jalan yang tidak macet, nyaman serta bersih.
Satpol PP selalu berusaha untuk meningkatkan kinerjanya dengan baik demi masyarakat.
